One other issue that they will be discussing is the fact that President Obama is telling everyone that the recession is almost at an end. I doubt many people believe that, especially the American Gaming Association! Representatives of the Las Vegas casino industry definitely don’t believe Obama because Vegas is still struggling financially and it will take a long time for the hotel-casinos to recover.
Due to the financial situation in America, many fans that are opposed to online gambling are now changing their minds… the power of money. Frank Fahrenkopf Jr., a member of the American Gaming Association stated recently “Without a doubt, the gaming industry is facing a long road to recovery.”
It is a fact, more casino players are playing online than going to a land based casino. And this is growing day by day. Why travel when you can play at home? It is the way of the future for many industries. More people are working from home, and travelling less and industries and governments need to take note of this.
Online casinos have much lower overheads than land based casinos and the land based casinos simply can’t compete. As a result Harrah Casino Group has already started preparing their online gambling casino business by using the World Series of Poker, which they own, in Europe.
It will all change for the better for USA internet casino players; it is just a matter of when?
