Online Casino Ads Not Welcomed By Facebook
Facebook may be one of the biggest social networking sites on the internet, but that does not mean that everybody is welcome to sign up and join the global network. Facebook has decided not to accept online gambling casino ads.
This decision places online casinos in the same company as tobacco and firearms that are not allowed to advertise on this popular social network site. Facebook has decided to remain firm on its decision and sticks to its high moral code when it comes to casino advertising on its site.
The censorship of the ads is something that some people find upsetting in the 21st century, but some others believe this is needed. There are millions of people exposed to the different ads on Facebook, most of which are youngsters.
One of the Facebook users, Mike Waller stated that while not agreeing with the decision that Facebook has made, he certainly understands why the restriction has been enforced. He also stated that this was not going to stop him from using Facebook because of the decision made.
Gambling and tobacco are two separate industries that are quite familiar with this type of censorship. People within these industries understand that there are unspoken dangers that come up with the product being offered, and they have found other ways to have their ads reach their targeted audience.
